I have been thinking a lot about heartbreak and what it means, what it looks like, and most of all how uncomfortable the feeling can be.
The more I thought about it the more beautiful it became to me, because each experience for me came with wonderful memories. Those memories helped me grow and even helped me get over new heartbreaks in my life. Ultimately, we all cause and feel this pain. And heartbreak is painful and often unseen.
These thoughts lead to creating a collection that embraced heartbreak. A collection not specifically tied to just romance or in the typical way we think of heartbreak, but the feeling that can be caused by anything we love in this world. It can be our family, our peace, our partners, our friends, our energy...
And as beautiful as memories can be, we don’t shy away from the sorrow or not-so-happy feelings that come along with this experience. Sometimes that sorrow does leave an eternal mark with us.
